Frequently Asked Questions
How do I book?
Let me know the date of your wedding via email and I'll get back to you regarding my availability. Your chosen date will be held for 7 days while I await confirmation from you. You'll need to return a booking form and I also require a deposit of £50 which will be deducted from your final balance.
Can you travel to our wedding venue?
Of course! The majority of brides like to get ready at home or at their chosen wedding venue. I'm more than happy to come to you. Any venue outside 10miles of BS1 is charged at 40p per mile plus return journey.
What are my options for short or thin hair?
Short hair can look very chic, but I also offer Beauty Works hair pieces and extensions at an additional cost. Your trial is the ideal time to discuss these options and find a solution you're completely happy with.
Do I need a trial?
A trial is essential for the bride and should ideally take place 6-8 weeks before the wedding. It's an opportunity to discuss the finer details of your celebration as well as the overall look you're hoping to achieve and any accessories I need to incorporate. Once I've got a good grasp of your personal likes and dislikes, we can work together to come up with your dream wedding day look.
Trials take place at my salon in Bristol city centre. Feel free to bring along a friend, but be aware that the space is quite cosy, so I'm unable to accommodate the entire bridal party. Saturdays tend to be taken up with wedding bookings, so trials usually take place during weekdays and evenings.
What will happen on the day?
On your wedding day, I'll arrive early to set-up my mobile salon and I won't leave until you're looking and feeling your best. Upon my departure, I'll present your chief bridesmaid with a complimentary 'SOS Bridal Styling Kit' containing hairspray and some extra hair grips just in case you need them.
